The policy paper was based on ‘needs analysis on youth entrepreneurship’ that had been conducted in two stages in each partner country and two different tools, focus group discussions and questionnaires, were used during the collection of the necessary data, as well. At the first stage, in order to gather information about the bottlenecks of the entrepreneurship and the skills which the target groups need to develop focus group discussions were conducted in two different groups, one with university students and the other with young entrepreneurs, in each partner country according to the template. Aged between 18 and 30, sixteen individuals participated in focus group discussions in each partner country.
At the second stage, a need analysis questionnaire was developed with contribution of each partner to be implemented to 150 individuals in each partner country. At the final phase of the study, the Strategic Policy Paper was finalized. With implementation of focus group discussions and questionnaires, most important issues and problems that entrepreneurs face have been revealed and the information derived from these studies played a significant role in development of the training curriculum and the content envisaged in the context of the Project, including 8 training modules deemed as vital for target group.Click here to download
